Introduction Workshop
About
In this workshop you will:
- learn about what Computer Science, Coding and Computational Thinking are
- discover some ways of teaching Computational Thinking Concepts without using a computer
- solve a variety of Puzzles using Coding
- learn about resources that can help you teach Coding in a way that encourages the development of creative and personally meaningful projects
- learn about tools and resources that can help your students move from Visual Programming languages to General-Purpose Programming languages
- create a variety of projects with Physical Computing devices
- work together with other teachers to develop a lesson that involves the concepts that you have learned about in the workshop
